Abe Quarter

Abe Quarter was the father of Nate Quarter and Thadeus Quarter and husband to Phasia Hexatine and Hermia Lentis. He was a learnt phraxengineer, but later worked as a Mine Sergeant in the Prade Phraxmine. He died in a mining "accident" that was probably orchestrated by Grint Grayle in 597 ᴇ.ʏ..

Biography

As a young phraxengineer, he lived in Ambristown, where he met his first wife, Phasia Hexatine. They parted after being married for only a short while in 580 ᴇ.ʏ., and she had a son whom she abandoned at the steps of the Great Glade Academy School. Abe only learned of his son in 596 ᴇ.ʏ.. He went on to marry Hermia Lentis at the opposition of her brother.[1] She died after only a few years of happy marriage, and Abe moved to the Western Woods to start a new life.[2] There, he was a Mine Sergeant in the Prade Phraxmine, where he had a reputation for being kind to the miners who worked in the phraxmine. He was killed by Grint Grayle, who then took his place as Mine Sergeant.[3]
