Airless spray painters like the ones contained in this category have several advantages over traditional painting methods, mainly efficiency and good coverage. Paint sprayers can cover large spaces in a short period of time, and the high-pressure application that they employ ensures that even rough surfaces will be well-covered. This makes larger paint sprayers ideal for outdoor use on concrete, stucco, or other large architectural surfaces. Paint sprayers come in a variety of sizes, however, and smaller handheld sprayers exist and can be used indoors, as long as the user is careful to block off any areas where they don’t want paint to be sprayed.
Air-powered products such as paint sprayers are a specialty of the Graco company. In fact, their first product in 1926 was an air-powered grease gun that worked in cold weather, unlike hand powered models.
