Background and Identification
The TexSpray RTX1400si Standard Interior Texture Sprayer is designed for residential and repaint contractors. The sprayer is made by Graco and is made for spraying orange peel, splatter, knockdown, and popcorn texture on walls and ceilings.
The RTX1400si includes a Graco RotoFlex II pump designed to provide uniform coverage with flow-through design. The Flex Change Pump System allows users to switch out a pump without the use of any tools. This model has a 1.4 gallon per minute output and can hold up to 10 gallons of material. The material flow can be adjusted with gauge dials for spraying thicker or thinner materials.
The RTX1400si model sprays simulated acoustic and drywall mud with several finishes from included nozzles (nozzles include 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm sizes). An orange peel texture can be accomplished using the 3mm and 4mm attachments, while an orange peel and small splatter texture can be made with the 6mm attachment. The 8 mm attachment can be used to create a small splatter or small to medium knockdown pattern. The machine also includes a 3/4-inch by 25-foot material hose and a 3/8-inch by 25-foot air hose.
The RTX1400si includes the name “TexSpray” in silver capital letters on the front of the material tank above the name “RTX 1400si.” The sprayer’s frame is a dark blue color and the engine cover is grey plastic. The machine also includes two large wheels for maneuverability.
