Troubleshooting
If you are having difficulties with the Lenovo IdeaPad 330S-14IKB, refer to the Lenovo IdeaPad 330S-14IKB Troubleshooting page.
Background
Originally released in January 2008, the Lenovo Ideapad series of laptops were created to make a more consumer friendly look and feel then the previous Lenovo Thinkpad series. Bringing features such as widescreen, facial recognition, frame less screens, and touch screens. The Ideapad series is flexible for all price ranges, providing basic base models, all the way up to high end gaming laptops.
It should be noted that none of the Ideapad series supports the Linux operating system due to the hard drive configuration only being supported by windows 10. In February of 2020 the Ideapad S940 was the worlds cheapest 4K laptop, featuring a curved contour display.
Identification
The bottom side of your Lenovo laptop should have a transparent sticker on it with information about the computer on it. The top of the sticker should show the model name. If the sticker is missing or illegible, but you know that the device is a Lenovo laptop, and it is functioning, you can go to the Lenovo support site and click "Detect Product" when hovering your mouse over the "PC" button. Selecting "Detect Product" should automatically allow the website to scan your computer to tell you the exact product type.
