Background Identification

The Eureka EasyClean 71C has no recalls. It features a 5.5 amp motor with a cord length of 20 feet. It uses a washable (DCF-11) filter along with bagless dirt collection. Its dimensions are 15” x 7” x 8” (length, width, height) and it weighs 4.8 pounds. It can be distinguished from the 71B and 72A by color; the 71C is blue whereas the 71B is yellow and the 72A is red. The model number and name can be found on a plaque on the underside of the base of the vacuum.

The 71C features a motorized brushroll that can be used for cleaning stairs and upholstery. The hose can also be detached to clean hard-to-reach areas. Included with the 71C is an onboard crevice tool that makes using the hose more convenient. In lieu of bags, the 71C uses a dustcup that can be easily removed and emptied for reuse.

Additional features are the trademarked Riser Visor Nozzle Cover and the multiple power modes. The Riser Visor flips up to make it easier to clean stairs and upholstery both vertically and horizontally. Using the power switch, the user can switch between using the brushroll and suction, suction only, off, and opening the cup for cleaning.
