Staldra Regeneration. At the start of each of its turns, the staldra normally recovers 10 hit points. If one of its eyes has been struck with a called shot since the start of its last turn, it instead does not recover these hit points.
If the staldra is reduced to 0 hit points, but at least one of its eyes remain intact, it is not killed, and will fully recover its hit points after 8 hours as if it completed a long rest.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The staldra makes three bite attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) piercing damage.

Source

A staldra appears as a three-headed undead serpent slightly larger than a horse. Its dry, scaled body seems to emit a cloud of dust endlessly. Each of its three heads has decayed since its death ages ago, leaving only a skull that masks a dimly-glowing blue organ that bears similarities to an eye. These "eyes" are the source of the monster's unusual regenerative properties. Only when all three have been destroyed will the creature never rise again into undeath.

Undead Race. There are no historical records of living staldra, or any three-headed serpents. For reasons unknown, the entire lot of creatures seems to have gone extinct, but many of them persist in undeath millennia after the race's demise. Unlike true stal-creatures, a staldra retains some portions of its body other than bones which remain partially functional, making it more akin to a zombie. Like virtually all undead, a staldra despises that which lives, and craves the destruction of all such creatures it comes across.

gollark: I really wonder about those people with 15GB.
gollark: "Unlimited" seemingly meaning "1TB a month then you get a lower speed".
gollark: Here in the UK it seems that you can get unlimited mobile data plans pretty cheaply, which is nice.
gollark: Data caps kind of make sense in that they get people to reduce usage a lot but allow high-bandwidth access when needed... but are very annoying.
gollark: I think the idea is to provide a better alternative to existing satellite services, and to also compete against ADSL-type connections in rural areas.
