See Poe (5e Creature). A special type of poe, scythe poes (or "imp poes") are remarkable for their ability to retain constant invisibility—visible only by an ominous lamp that seems to dangle unattended in midair. Survivors of these mysterious creatures' attacks are left with large gashing scars, with no realization these wounds were inflicted by an invisible animated doll wielding a scythe as large as its body. Scythe poes seem to have slightly different origins or motivations than normal poes, based on their appearance, but nonetheless act and lash out in an almost identical manner. Undead Nature. A poe does not require air, food, drink, or sleep. |
