Conjure Gleeok Head. As a bonus action, the Primordial Gleeok can cause a gleeok head to appear in a space adjacent to it. It cannot conjure a fifth unless one of the previous four dies, but it can kill any of them as a bonus action.

Innate Spellcasting. The Primordial Gleeok's innate spellcasting ability is Constitution (spell save DC 24, +16 to hit with spell attacks). The Primordial Gleeok can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At-will: fire bolt (cast as a 17th-level spellcaster), magic missile, scorching ray
3/day: counterspell (cast as a 5th-level spell), fireball, major image, misty gate
1/day: freedom of movement, programmed illusion, wall of fire, wildfire

Legendary Resistance. If the Primordial Gleeok fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Regeneration. The Primordial Gleeok regains 20 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point.

ACTIONS

Multiattack: The Primordial Gleeok makes five attacks. It can replace one of these attacks with casting a spell that it can cast at-will or 3/day.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 29 (4d10 + 7) piercing damage plus 11 (2d10) fire damage.

Fire Bolt. Ranged Spell Attack: +16 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (4d10) fire damage.

It is said that all gleeoks existing today are direct descendants of the Primordial Gleeok, a ferocious force of pure destruction that is usually believed to be mythical. It is said by some to have existed near the Primordial Era, and said to be a mistake of the Golden Goddess of Life, Farore. She erroneously created a being of such power that it threatened to destroy all mortal life in the Light World, and was consequently slain by the Golden Goddess of Power, Din. Those who revere the Golden Goddesses believe they are incapable of mistake, and consider the mere mentioning of this creature to be sacrilegious.

Descriptions and tales of the Primordial Gleeok vary, but it is always a wild monster with at least five heads, over 60 feet tall, of a stark crimson hue. It is frequently said to have four legs unlike the bipedal gleeoks living today. Some interpretations of tales embellish it even further, saying it had seven heads, or even a hundredbut no one surviving today has seen it firsthand, thankfully.

Immortal Nature. The Primordial Gleeok doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.


gollark: The value of stocks tends to go up a bit over time (in aggregate, for individual ones or shorts amount of time maybe not), and the magical power of compound interest™ makes that significant.
gollark: Not really. Regular people can buy stocks. Probably only large companies are doing HFT, though.
gollark: Apparently finance might be an application for it, since fibre optics are somewhat significantly slower than light, and the satellites' laser/microwave links wouldn't be, and the minor latency advantage would provide an edge in high frequency trading.
gollark: Wokerer: modulate some kind of neutrino generation thing, and have a detector on the other end, so you can just send signals straight through the earth.
gollark: Really? That would be better, then.
