Planar Calling (5e Spell)
You summon creatures from other worlds to fight by your side. They appear in an unoccupied space that you can see within range.]] The numbers, types and maximum CR of the creatures summoned are defined in the table: Creature Types and Maximum Challenge Ratings. When you cast the spell, you may choose only one of the following options for what appears:

For the purposes of determining challenge ratings below 1, treat CR 1/2 as one level below CR 1, CR 1/4 as one level below CR 1/2, CR 1/8 as one level below CR 1/4, and CR 0 as one level below CR 1/8.
Thus, an example of this spell cast using a 2nd level spell slot could be: One Beast of CR 1, or two Beasts of CR 1/2, or four Beasts of CR 1/4, or eight Beasts of CR 1/8. It could also be used to summon one Elemental of CR 1/4, or Two Elementals of CR 1/8, or one Dragon of CR 1/8, and so on.
The creatures disappear when they drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends. The creatures are friendly to you and your companions for the duration. Roll initiative for the summoned creatures as a group, which have a combined turn. They obey any verbal commands that you issue to them (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any commands to the creatures, they defend themselves from hostile monsters but otherwise take no actions.
You may not cast this spell as a cantrip.
