Miasma of Death, Variant (5e Spell)

You raise your arms and utter a word of power that compels creatures within range to perish. A creature within range must make a Constitution saving throw or take 10d10 necrotic damage. If a creature fails the save by 10 or more and has 50 hit points or fewer, it dies. On a successful save a creature takes half as much damage. A creature reduced to 0 hit points by this spell dies regards of if they pass their save or not.
