A mad scrub on the lookout. Source

Much more aggressive than common deku scrubs, mad scrubs attack any creatures that draw near with the intent to kill. After all, a corpse will eventually provide extra nourishment to the deku flower the mad scrub calls home. They distrust any and all who would approach them, save occasionally other deku scrubs. Mad scrubs can be found anywhere where flora is abundant, but are most common in marshes and wetlands.
