Gunner’s Kit (5e Equipment)

Consisting of a barrel wiper, holster, bandolier, and powder horn filled with explosive powder, it is used to man firearms and serve as a reference for making, fixing, and modding them. Proficiency with this kit lets you add your proficiency bonus to any ability checks you make to fix, modify, or craft firearms.

If your campaign is modern, treat the explosive powder as cordite or refined gunpowder, if it is renaissance era, have it be black powder. If you are playing a Forgotten Realms setting, and smokepowder is the only explosive powder there is, treat this as an uncommon magic item.
