Lightning Absorption. Whenever the electric keese is subjected to lightning damage, it takes no damage and instead gains a number of hit points equal to the lightning damage dealt.

Shocking Cloak. The electric keese’s body is eternally cloaked with crackling electricity, which sheds flickering and flashing light effectively identical to that of a torch. Any creature which touches it directly or with an electricity-conducting weapon (including most metal weapons) takes 7 (2d6) lightning damage, and must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw. If the creature has resistance or immunity to lightning damage, it automatically succeeds on this saving throw. On a failed save, it drops everything it is holding and is stunned with electric shocks until the end of its next turn.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and the target is exposed to the keese’s shocking cloak.

Source

The bodies of electric keese glow are a mix of pale yellow and occasionally browns or greens. They are visibly and audibly crackling with electricity at all times. Rarer than other variants, they can only occasionally be found in extremely dry regions where static electricity or lightning is common, such as deserts. Aside from this, they could theoretically be found in areas of unusual electric activitysuch as a locale with still-active ancient technology, or the domain of a lightning wizzrobe.
