- Arch Enemy: Chris Jericho, who attacked him, during a loosing streak, every time he announced the winner's name. To be fair Jericho always bought him new suits.

While Booker was embarrassed and manager, Sherri couldn't help but laugh, Gene just turned around and interview Stevie Ray without missing a beat like nothing happened.

- Hoist by His Own Petard: He infamously said that Mick Foley as WWF Champion would 'put a lot of butts in seats' sarcastically, leading to millions of fans switching over to watch Foley win the belt on Raw.

Authority Figures
Eric Bischoff (Eric Aaron Bischoff, 1991-1999, 2000, 2001)
WCW Executive Producer and later the company's President.
- Alternate Company Equivalent: Of Vince McMahon, both as an announcer and as the "Evil Boss" he went on to become. Though they played different types of "Evil Boss".
- Authority Equals Asskicking: The guy is a legit martial artist and held a couple of titles.
- Corrupt Corporate Executive: His on-screen persona during the late 90's, a la WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
