Transformers: War for Cybertron/Trivia

• Actor Allusion: Near the end of "Death of Hope", Megatron refers to Omega Supreme as an "Obsolete hulk". Both Megatron and Omega are voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who has voiced The Incredible Hulk multiple times.
• I Knew It!: Transformers Prime is set in the same universe as "WfC and during Ratchet's recap of the events during "One Shall Rise, Part 3" confirms that the being listed only as "Core" in the credits was indeed Primus.
• Hey, It's That Voice!: Peter Cullen is once again Optimus Prime (the designers noting there's probably a law against not having Peter Cullen in a modern Transformers game) and Johnny Yong Bosch is Bumblebee.
  • On the Decepticon side: Barricade is Steve Blum, Brawl is Nolan North, Skywarp is Richard Epcar and Starscream's voice gives him super-strength!
    • Although Starscream sounds more like Viral... which is hilarious when you consider that Johnny Yong Bosch voiced Rossiu.
  • For his speaking appearance in the Gamestop commercial, Shockwave is reprised by Corey Burton for the role, but his in-game voice, comprising only a few lines for multiplayer, is provided by Steve Blum.
  • And just to add a few more, you also have Travis Willingham as Sideswipe; Crispin Freeman as Breakdown; Troy Baker as Jetfire and Zeta Prime; Kari Wahlgren as Arcee; Jamieson Price as Warpath; Patrick Seitz as Silverbolt, Liam O'Brien as Air Raid; Fred Tatasciore as Ratchet (reprising the role from the tie-in game to the first live-action movie), Megatron, Omega Supreme, and Trypticon; Keith Silverstein as Rumble and Frenzy; Keith Szarabajka as Ironhide; Jessica "Juri/Sasha/Gidget" Strauss as Slipstream; Isaac C. "Incognito/Bo'sun/Sagat" Singleton Jr. as Soundwave and The Core of Cybetron/Primus; and Graham "Mikhail Novakovich/Loki/Bertrand" McTavish as Thundercracker.
    • This basically means the voice cast (with a few exceptions like Optimus, Megatron, Brawl & Thundercracker to name a few) is a semi-.hack//G.U. reunion.
  • Ed O'Ross does some additional voice work.
  • From the Italian dub: while Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Ratchet have the same voices as their Animated selves, we have some Beast Wars guys between the voices: Megatron is Terrorsaur and Starscream is Quickstrike. Also, Jetfire and Soundwave are respectively Tristan and Pegasus, and Air Raid is Piccolo. Just AWESOME.
• Old Shame: Corey Burton, who voiced Shockwave (Steve Blum does it in the game proper) in the DLC commercial for the game, said that the gag nature and rushed performance seemed Out of Character and that he felt he barely sounded like Shockwave at all.
