- Lesbian Jock: Technically, bisexual jock, but her love interest is female, and she shows a preference for girls in general. Notably, her main sport is actually the "acceptably feminine" rhythmic gymnastics.
- Lethal Chef: Luckily for everyone around her, Izumi doesn't try to cook unless she "has to", but when she does...
- Like Brother and Sister: With Shouji.

- Super Strength: As Cure Kame, she can use her powers to amplify her enhanced strength even more.

Yasu Fukuda (Cure Tora) | Voice Actor: Chieko Honda (Japanese), Grey DeLisle (English)

- Lady of War
- The Lancer
- Lunacy/Petal Power
- Meganekko
- Nice Hat: Her beret in Cure form.
- Ojou
- Parental Abandonment: Her father died when she was eight (being a Daddy's Girl, she took this very hard), and her mother isn't around very often due to her job. Granted, Yui tries her best to make time for her children, and Yasu is accepting of the situation.
- The Quiet One
- Rei Ayanami Expy: Physically, she's pretty much Rei with a dye job and glasses. Personality-wise, she fits a number of the qualifications, but isn't quite as inhuman-seeming.
- Rose-Haired Girl
- Showgirl Skirt: Her Cure outfit features a dual-layered one over Modesty Shorts.
- Sugar and Ice Girl
- Tall, Dark and Bishoujo: Has the austere, sophisticated personality and the "stylishly feminine" looks. She just lacks the height and the long, dark hair, something that Hiroko mentally lampshades.
- Yaoi Fangirl: She usually hides it pretty well, but she is one, as evidenced by the incriminating stash of manga under her mattress and her odd suggestive comments/fantasy segues.
Haruki Fukuda (Cure Phoenix) | Voice Actor: Makoto Tsumura (Japanese), Steven Jay Blum (English)
Yasu's cheery and sociable younger brother and a later addition to the team. He is a an idealistic daydreamer with an honest heart who believes there is some good in everyone. These traits make him the team's emotional center but also leave him a bit too trusting.
- Adorably Precocious Child: He's the youngest member of the team, but he doesn't really act like it.
- Bishonen

- The Klutz: Often walks into or trips over things when distracted. This is how he meets Hiroko.
- Little Brother Instinct: He's actually more protective than Yasu than she is of him, mostly because he knows how insecure she really is.

- Nice Guy: Probably one of the most kind-hearted and personable members of the cast.
- Not Quite Flight: His Cure powers allow him to hover/glide using heat energy for a short period of time.
- The One Guy
- Parental Abandonment: Same as Yasu.
- The Power of the Sun
- Prince Charming: He mentions having wanted to be this type of hero when he was younger before accepting that "prince who rescues princesses" isn't really a career you can have. He settles for writing a picture book that casts his author avatar as this.
- Princely Young Man
- Redheaded Hero
- Sensitive Guy to Shouji's Manly Man
- The So-Called Coward: Haruki describes himself as a coward for being afraid of the monsters that Pretty Cure faces. However, he shows little evidence of actual cowardice, and Hiroko sees it as him being overly self-critical.
- Wooden Katanas Are Even Better: Scarlet Shinai.
Muse / Jun Inoue (Cure Kirin) | Voice Actor: Ikue Ohtani (Japanese), Stephanie Beard (English)
The team mascot and the little sister figure, a young cat who can become a human girl and later, a Cure. She is usually childish and hyper but can be mature and responsible when the situation calls for it.

- Cloudcuckoolander: She has a rather... out there thought process.

- The Glomp: Hers usually end with the glompee getting knocked to the floor.

- Team Pet: Sort of shares this role with Kisu, moreso during the first half of the series.
- Tights With a Skirt: She's one of few students (aside from Kaoru) to do this with her uniform and the only Cure to pull this off with her combat attire.

- Bifauxnen: To the point where she expects to have to correct others about her gender. Any confusion she causes usually gets cleared up quickly.
- The Big Sister
- Biker Babe

- But Not Too Foreign: The daughter of a German father and a Japanese mother.

- Fingerless Gloves
- Foil:
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Blue Oni to Izumi's Red and the Red Oni to Kimi's Blue.
- Tomboy to Kimi's Girly Girl
- Girls Love Stuffed Animals: She actually has a pretty generously-sized collection of them and will add another to the pile once in a while. She makes no effort to hide this, but those who don't know her well are pretty surprised to learn about it.
- Gratuitous German: Every once in a while.
- Hot Chick in a Badass Suit: Being a Wholesome Crossdresser, she defaults to this for her formal attire.

- Non-Elemental
- One of the Boys: She mentions having this kind of childhood, although she had more in the way of female friends than Izumi did.
- Parental Abandonment: Her mother is dead, and her father sent her to live with her aunt and uncle when she was about nine. She's relatively positive about it now, but she didn't take it very well when she was younger.
- Shrinking Violet: Covertly - Shun is good at feigning confidence but has moments where she reveals how shy and socially awkward she really is. She wasn't quite as covert about it while brainwashed, though.
- Sixth Ranger
- Support Party Member: Licht Panzer has no finishers of her own; her powers revolve entirely around creating Deflector Shields and enabling Pretty Cure to perform their Combined Energy Attack. That said, she's still a solid fighter who can hold her own as well as the Cures can.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Pancakes, although she's fond of anything maple-flavored in general.
- Unsettling Gender Reveal: Does this to both Hiroko and Kae, who show interest in "him" for different reasons.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: She and Kimiko are cousins who act more like siblings - they usually can't be in the same room for more than a few minutes without bickering with each other, but Shun would do anything to protect Kimiko, and vice-versa.
- Wholesome Crossdresser: She even wore her school's male uniform.
- You Gotta Have Teal Hair
Kisu | Voice Actor: Ayaka Saitou (Japanese); Tara Strong (English)
Muse's adopted "baby brother", a young mouse who holds the power to create a new seal. Every time the Cures defeat an enemy, Kisu absorbs and purifies the energy released in order to grow stronger.

- Voluntary Shapeshifting
The Previous Cures
Kimiko Yoshimoto (Cure Lepus) | Voice Actor: Ryoko Nagata (Japanese), Candi Milo (English)

- Barrier Maiden
- Big Sister Bully: Used to be one towards Shun, although she's mellowed out over the years. She still likes teasing her, though.
- Cherry Blossoms: Her personal motif. They also show up whenever she uses her powers.

- You Gotta Have Turquoise Hair
Marina Ishii (Cure Ushi) | Voice Actor: Naomi Shindo (Japanese), B.J. Ward (English)
A scientist and the oldest of the Ishii family. She arranged for Hiroko to enter Mirai Academy. She is an unflappable, if somewhat morbid young woman who worries more for the welfare of those around her, especially her teammates, than she would let on.

- Stealth Hi Bye
- Tall, Dark and Bishoujo

- The Ditz
- Everything's Better with Rainbows: Her clothing has this motif.

- Rose-Haired Girl
- Simple Staff: Yellow Baton.
Yuriko Kimura (Cure Tenma) | Voice Actor: Yuu Asakawa (Japanese); Julie Ann Taylor (English)

Devil Kingdom
Devil King Aseimera | Voice Actor: Rintaro Nishi (Japanese), Steve Cassling (English)

- Hair-Trigger Temper
- Large and In Charge: Also counts as Adipose Rex by virtue of being quite portly.
- Mix-and-Match Critters
- No Indoor Voice: During his tirades.
- Orcus on His Throne: He was badly injured during his last battle, so this is justified.
- Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: His (deceased) wife was actually quite attractive. She was also the only person he actually cared about - his son (who apparently took after his mother in looks) was not so lucky.
- 0% Approval Rating
The Black Triumvirate
Hinyu | Voice Actor: Hiroshi Kamiya (Japanese); Dougary Grant (English)
Aseimera's personal attendant. He acts like a timid and milquetoast Yes-Man but is actually quite cold and resentful, plotting to overthrow Aseimera and take his place.
- Bastard in Sheep's Clothing: Acts like a timid Yes-Man around Aseimera and a personable, if sometimes foul-tempered, guy around Kae, and to a lesser extent, her henchmen. He's actually a cold-hearted person who only cares about himself.
- Bishonen
- The Dragon
- Dragon-in-Chief: He's essentially the main villain, considering how little Aseimera can accomplish in his current condition.

- It's All About Me
- Little Bit Beastly: Has several vulpine attributes, including pointed ears, whisker-like Facial Markings and sharp teeth.

- The Nose Knows
- Pitiful Worms: Comes part and parcel with the Fantastic Racism.
- Playing with Fire
- Burning with Anger: Literally does this at least once.
- Finger-Snap Lighter
- Powerful, but Lazy: He's the strongest of the Triumvirate but only goes out to challenge Pretty Cure a small handful of times, mostly because he considers them beneath his notice. He uses the Trio to do his work for him, despite their tendency to botch his orders, because they're convenient, and nobody will care if something happens to them.
- The Starscream
- Surrounded by Idiots: Definitely feels this way about the Magnificent Trio.
- Youkai: Based on a kitsune.
- You Killed My Father: Hinyu's father died at the previous Cure team's hands thanks to Aseimera, giving Hinyu another reason to despise him. Then, it's only a small part of his motivation to become king, with the rest being pure self-interest, and Hinyu does ration that his father dying removed an obstacle between him and the throne.
Tamakushi | Voice Actor: Rei Igarashi (Japanese); Megan Hollingshead (English)
The cold and detached lone female of the Triumvirate. She cannot stand to see people getting along and revels in the suffering of others, be they friend or foe. Many of her plans rely on her shape-shifting abilities in some way.
- The Baroness
- The Blank: By default, although she can avert this at will.
- Cat Suit
- Dark Action Girl
- Deadpan Snarker

- For the Evulz: She cares less about accomplishing any kind of goal and more about tormenting people as it suits her.
- Glamour Failure: Her puppets are all given away by a tell-tale silver ring around their irises.
- Glass Cannon: Her puppets have this problem - they could potentially do a lot of damage, but even a normal person can take them out in a few hits. Creating stronger ones takes more of her concentration and causes her more pain if they're destroyed, so it's also a practical measure.
- Lady in Red: Unless she's wearing her stock disguise, then she's a Woman in Black.
- Manipulative Bitch
- Shapeshifter Default Form: When she isn't using her normal form or imitating someone else, she assumes the shape of an young woman with platinum-blond hair. This is the form she wears while she's patronizing Club Tsukikage.

- Voluntary Shapeshifting
- Wolverine Claws
- Youkai: Based on a noppera-bo.
Seimono | Voice Actor: Toshio Furukawa (Japanese); John Snyder (English)

- Ambiguously Brown: In human form.
- Anti-Villain: Type I. He's as loyal to Aseimera as the other Triumvirate members; however, unlike them, he has actual standards. He hates the idea of torturing innocent people for one - the one time he's ordered to do it, it makes him ill, and he attempts to call off the Dogou responsible. He's also clearly capable of expressing love and kindness, as proven by his relationship with Kamryou.
- Bald of Evil
- The Brute: Fills the role, but lacks the stock personality - he's actually intelligent and the most civil of the villains.

- Dishing Out Dirt

- Feel No Pain: His rock-hard skin prevents him from feeling much pain, if any when attacked.
- Horned Humanoid
- Huge Guy to Kamryou's Tiny Androgyne
- Mighty Glacier
- Minion Shipping/May-December Romance: With Kamryou.

- Scars Are Forever: Has a prominent one on his chest. Naturally, there's a backstory to go along with it - He let the previous generation of Cures escape from the Black Palace, knowing they were in no condition to fight, and Aseimera almost killed him for it.
- The Stoic
- Youkai: Based on an oni.
Kamryou | Voice Actor: Mayumi Yamaguchi (Japanese), Rachael Lillis (English)
Seimono's rag doll-like personal vassal. Obsessed with and protective of Seimono to an extreme, Kamryou claims to be "half a person" without him.

- Shrinking Violet: When they're not in Yandere mode, they're one of these.
- Tiny Androgyne to Seimono's Huge Guy
- White Haired Pretty Androgyne: When disguised as a human.
- Yandere: Kamryou will lash out at anything they see as threatening or even displeasing Seimono. He can easily rein them in, though.
- Youkai: Based on an ittan-momen.
The Magnificent Trio
Kae A. Dama | Voice Actor: Kumiko Watanabe (Japanese), Edie Mirman (English)
The leader of the Magnificent Trio, a self-centered young woman who sees herself as a genius criminal, all evidence to the contrary. She presents as one being but is actually part of a set of Conjoined Twins with one body and two faces on opposite sides of the same head. Not that she wants that brought up...
- Anti-Villain: A Type I - although she'll insist otherwise, she just doesn't have the stomach for out-and-out evil. She also balks at the idea of actually destroying Pretty Cure (despite asserting over and over again that she will), preferring a rivalry with them.
- Black Magician Girl
- Butt Monkey: The standout among the Trio, although they all have their moments.
- Casting a Shadow
- Creepy Conjoined Twins: With Shahei.
- Cut His Heart Out with a Spoon: Her shouting these kind of threats at Pretty Cure becomes a running gag after episode 9.
- Dark Magical Girl: A comedic version.
- Detached Sleeves: She inexplicably stores an array of charms and her staff in them.
- Dope Slap: Frequently does this to her henchmen. She never actually manages to land hits on Tobi, though.
- Expressive Rapunzel Hair
- Fan Girl: She's enamored with the Sentai manga (and anime) Space Team Cross-3 and wants to emulate the series' villains, Team Dark Cross. This never goes well. Her crush on "Hinyu-sama" is also shown to be more fangirlish admiration than anything. It doesn't help that she has little idea of what he's really like, thanks to the way he acts towards her.
- Foil:
- Genius Ditz: Despite her usual airheaded and ignorant behavior, she's actually quite skilled at creating magic charms.
- Hey, You: She pretty much always addresses Pretty Cure in this manner.
- Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: Again, all of the Trio could be counted as this, but she's the best fit for the position, being the only one who seems to care about being recognized as a real villain.
- Jerkass: Usually, although she's not immune to Pet the Dog moments (i.e. episode 10).
- Laughably Evil
- Magic Staff
- Painted-On Pants
- Small Name, Big Ego: She's a teenager who can't even manage a three-person "gang" properly, but she'll still swear up and down that she's a "fearsome criminal gang leader".
- Squishy Wizard: Relatively speaking - Kae isn't frail, but she isn't as strong or durable, let alone as good at fighting as Pretty Cure; thus, she prefers to stay out of the way and cast magic during fights.
- Sue Donym: She creates her alias, "Kaeko Damai" in about fifteen seconds. It shows. And yet she's shocked when people aren't fooled by it...
- Talking to Themself: Sometimes appears to do this. She's actually talking to Shahei, but most people aren't aware of that.
- Verbal Tic: "~netsu"
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair
Shahei A. | Voice Actor: Kumiko Watanabe (Japanese), Edie Mirman (English)
Kae's seemingly emotionless twin sister. She seems motiveless and hollow outside but is actually more conflicted that she'd let on. Later on, she takes up the alias of "Yuzuki" to spy on the Cures, which allows her to reevaluate what she really wants.
- Anti-Villain: Somewhere between type I and type II.
- Beauty Mark: Has one near the outside corner of her right eye.
- Broken Bird
- Creepy Conjoined Twins: With Kae.
- Creepy Monotone: Usually, though she speaks more normally while disguised.
- Dark Magical Girl: Like her twin sister, although she has more of the stock personality traits.
- Detached Sleeves
- Emotionless Girl
- Expressive Rapunzel Hair
- Extreme Doormat: Or so it seems...
- Foil:
- Light'Em Up
- Magic Staff
- Meganekko: As "Yuzuki”.
- Painted-On Pants
- Perpetual Smiler: Usually sports a mild, emotionless smile, no matter the situation. Usually...
- Squishy Wizard: Same as Kae, although she's apparently much worse at physical combat.
- Stepford Smiler: Appears to be a type B, is actually closer to a type A.
- Verbal Tic: "~jitsu"
- What Is This Thing You Call Love?: Later admits that she doesn't understand the concept and doesn't think anyone, save her twin sister, could ever value her anyway. Her mind nearly breaks when Haruki is genuinely nice to her without wanting anything in return.
- White Magician Girl
- You Gotta Have Blue Hair
R. Kooyoo | Voice Actor: Yasunori Matsumoto (Japanese), Grant Goodeve (English)
The slow-minded strongman of the Trio. He isn't really a bad person, just immature and impressionable, and he happily associates with humans when not being ordered to fight.
- Anti-Villain: A type IV who has a childishly naive attitude towards his team's "criminal activities" and only acts antagonistic when made to - when left on his own, he tries striking up a friendship with several of his enemies.
- Big Eater
- Obsessed with Food: He's always thinking about food and can be easily distracted by or bribed with it.
- The Ditz
- Dumb Is Good
- Dumb Muscle
- Everything's Better with Monkeys
- Foil:
- Friendly Enemy
- Japanese Honorifics: Actually averts this, instead using the English "Mr./Ms./Mrs." when referring to someone.
- Kindhearted Simpleton: He's really just a big kid who's more easily influenced than actively malevolent. He's also the most friendship-oriented of the Trio.
- Literal-Minded: Kooyoo does not do well with idioms or rhetorical questions.
- Man Child
- Petting Zoo People: His true form resembles an anthropomorphic monkey.
- Verbal Tic: "~ukii"
- Vitriolic Best Buds: He and Tobi are a type 1.
- Wild Hair: More like Wild Fur in his true form.
P. Tobi | Voice Actor: Voice Actor: Tomokazu Sugita (Japanese), Steve Bulen (English)
Kae's lancer and the Trio's (comparative) sane man who spends a lot of time snarking at Kae and criticizing her failings. He's actually in love with her (though he'd never admit it) and hopes that she'll eventually return his feelings.
- Anti-Villain: Type I.
- Berserk Button: He does not like it when others bring up his formerly being a panhandler.
- Blow You Away
- Deadpan Snarker
- Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: He has a good relationship with his mother and always sends a portion of his earnings to her.
- Evil Brit: He's trying very hard to be one, anyway... despite being a demon from another dimension who has never so much as set foot in England.
- Evil Teacher: Very briefly poses as one. Even afterward, the alias he used, "Shouta Kuromori" is treated like his "human name".
- Foil:
- Green-Eyed Monster: Tobi does not like Hinyu (who he refers to as "that man"), primarily because Kae is interested in Hinyu and not him. Really, he dislikes anyone who gets "in between" him and Kae, even going a bit unhinged over it in episode 10.
- Jerkass: In a different way than Kae, but it still counts.
- Little Bit Beastly: Has several birdlike attributes, including black-feathered wings, raptor-like eyes, and talon-like hands.
- Only Sane Man: He sees himself as this. He isn't entirely accurate.
- Paper Fan of Doom
- Sarcastic Devotee
- Tsundere: A very harsh type A towards Kae.
- Verbal Tic: "~osra".
- Vitriolic Best Buds: He and Kooyoo are a type 1.
- You Gotta Have Violet Hair
- Youkai: Based on a tengu.
Supporting Characters

The shamelessly flirtatious president of the ailing Film Club. He adores horror films and sometimes seems to have a tenuous grasp on reality but is smarter than others give him credit for.
- Bishonen
- Butt Monkey: He's pretty much the designated "fall guy" out of the Cures' schoolmates.
- Chivalrous Pervert: He's this towards all of his female classmates (and some upperclassmen) in general. Emi (or "my cute little Emi-chan" as he tends to call her) is his favorite girl, though.
- Club President: Leads the Film Club.
- Crossdresser: During his brief tenure with the Student Council, he temporarily trades his tie for a green neck ribbon at Nanami's request.
- Curtains Match the Window
- Ditzy Genius
- Never Live It Down: In-universe. He gave a love confession to Shinobu during his first year at Mirai. A number of people refuse to forget this, especially Shinobu himself.
- Nightmare Fetishist: He got that one from his older sister, Marina.
- No Sense of Direction: And heaven help you if he tries to give you directions somewhere.
- Those Two Guys: Sometimes plays this alongside Emi.
- You Gotta Have Green Hair
Emi Nishimura | Voice Actor: Yumi Kakazu (Japanese), Sandy Fox (English)
A timid and anxious girl who dreams of becoming an Idol Singer. Her attempt at founding Mirai Academy's first Music Club fell apart after the other members tired of her underconfidence, which she tries to fix with Hiroko's help.
- Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: They're Sickeningly Sweethearts. No wonder she hates working at their restaurant.
- Blinding Bangs: At first. She gets the hair out of her face as she gains more confidence.
- Club President: Theoretically, she'd be this for the Music Club... if it still existed.
- Curtains Match the Window
- Drunk on Orange Soda: Not drunk, but she certainly drowns her sorrows in it.
- Fragile Flower
- Girls Are Really Scared of Horror Movies: Well, she is.
- Idol Singer: She'd really like to be one, but her shyness and extreme confidence issues get in the way.
- Memento MacGuffin: Her rainbow bracelet, which was given to her by her deceased mother, a famous singer.
- Rose-Haired Girl
- Those Two Guys: Sometimes plays this alongside Kou.
- What Beautiful Eyes!: Hiroko making this observation inspires Emi to finally get her Blinding Bangs out of her face.
Shouji Fujimoto | Voice Actor: Mamoru Miyano (Japanese), Andrew Philpot (English)
A straightforward kendo player who has no problems being abrasive if he has to, especially where Izumi is concerned. Although he'll try to deny it, he genuinely is a nice guy despite his rough exterior.
- Brutal Honesty
- Cuteness Proximity: He just adores cute animals, as he (accidentally) reveals to Muse early on.
- Dark-Skinned Blond
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He really does care about Izumi, even if he expresses it through insults half the time. He also shows his heart of gold around Haruki and Muse.
- Like Brother and Sister: With Izumi.
- Manly Man to Haruki's Sensitive Guy
- Real Men Hate Sugar: He most certainly doesn't, but Izumi brings up the trope to tease him anyway.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Soba noodles
- Vitriolic Best Buds: He and his "idiot sister", Izumi are a type 2.
- Would Hit a Girl: He has no problems hurting Izumi during their sparring matches... but then again, Izumi would feel insulted if he didn't fight back properly.
Misty Oliver | Voice Actor: Nami Miyahara (Japanese), Hilary Haag (English)
The treasurer of the Student Council, who is originally from America. She's a friendly and enthusiastic girl who plays a guitar and dreams of becoming a famous musician.
- Ambiguously Brown
- Fiery Dark-Skinned Redhead
- Genki Girl
- Peek-a-Bangs
- Phenotype Stereotype: Averted.
- Poster Gallery Bedroom: Her side of the bedroom she shares with Izumi is covered in rock music posters.
- Tomboy
Nanami Hisakawa | Voice Actor: Yui Horie (Japanese), Rebecca Handler (English)
The (seemingly) melodramatic and childish Student Council President. She often comes across as pompous and overconfident but is effective at her job and can be quite on-point when needed.
- Ambiguously Gay: She refers to Kaoru as "my wife", play-flirts with her on occasion, doesn't seem upset that the Dogou in episode 8 mistook the two of them for an actual couple, and shows very little interest in men (unless they're dressed as women, and even then). Her actual sexuality is never confirmed.
- Cool Big Sis: She thinks of herself as this for most underclassmen, even referring to herself as "Big Sis" once in a while. She also expresses a wish to have Muse as her actual little sister.
- Cosplay Otaku Girl
- Girlish Pigtails
- Heterosexual Life Partners: With Kaoru[1]; she's also the Wise Guy to her Straight Man.
- Obfuscating Stupidity: In her case, it's combined with Obfuscating Egotism.
- School Uniforms Are the New Black: Sort of. She often goes around in a (heavily modified) uniform after school, but it's Kyukai Public's. Kaoru assumes she does it to be ironic.
- Student Council President: And you'll call her Madame President, thank you very much.
- You Gotta Have Violet Hair
Kaoru Takenaka | Voice Actor: Yuki Kaida (Japanese), Stephanie Sheh (English)
The Student Council's vice-president, who is from a very rich family, although she refuses to let it get to her head. Unlike her childhood friend, Nanami, she's very down-to-earth and not one for childish antics.
- Big Ol' Eyebrows
- Forehead of Doom: She gets some good-natured razzing over it.
- Heterosexual Life Partners: With Nanami; she's also the Straight Man to her Wise Guy.
- Japanese Christian
- Ojou
- Satellite Character: Her life seems to revolve around Nanami, to the point that they're seldom seen apart.
- Spoiled Sweet: Kaoru is rich enough to purchase the school (several times over) but still quite humble, polite, and modest.
- Shy Blue-Haired Girl
- Tights With a Skirt: Along with Muse/Jun, one of few to wear this regularly with her uniform.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Donuts.
Shinobu Hayashi | Voice Actor: Akira Ishida (Japanese), Ryan Drummond (English)
The Student Council secretary, known for being both prettier than many girls and the "evil one" of the group. He is all too happy to play both of these up.
- Attractive Bent Gender: Pretty on his own, Shinobu makes a very fetching girl when he's trying to look like one.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: To the point of people wondering why the "fourth girl" on the Student Council is wearing a boy's uniform. He uses his delicate, feminine looks to his advantage whenever he cross-dresses.
- Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette
- Long-Haired Pretty Boy
- The Stoic
- Token Evil Teammate: Shinobu refers to himself as this, although he's more creepy than evil. That being said, he's the Council member most likely to resort to underhanded tactics.
- Unsettling Gender Reveal: Did this to Kou pre-series. He still likes teasing him, despite Kou not really being "his type of guy".
- Wholesome Crossdresser: The "wholesome" part is up for debate, but he definitely fits the other qualifications when dressed as a girl. He also wears a black neck ribbon with his uniform.
- Back to Pretty Cure Mirai Spark
- ↑ although the "heterosexual" is debatable on her part
