Temperance, California

Temperance is a former settlement in Fresno County, California.[1] It was located 6.5 miles (10.5 km) northeast of Fresno.[1]

A post office operated at Temperance from 1881 to 1886.[1] The place was named for the Women's Christian Temperance Union.[1]
