Athletics

Eight athletes will be representing South Africa at the 2020 Summer Paralympics including Mpumelelo Mhlongo who is qualified to compete in the men's 100m T64 and men's long jump T64 events. He qualified after winning the silver medal in the men's 100 metres T64 event and the bronze medal in the men's long jump T64 event at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships.[1][2]
