Iran at the 2020 Summer Paralympics

Iran will be competing at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, from 24 August to 5 September 2021. This will be their ninth consecutive appearance at the Summer Paralympics since 1988.

Shooting

Sareh Javanmardi won the first quota for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after her results at the 2018 World Shooting Para Sport Championships in Cheongju, South Korea.[2]

Volleyball

Iran's men's sitting volleyball team qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after winning the 2018 World ParaVolley Championships.[3][4][5]

Wheelchair basketball

Iran's men's wheelchair basketball team qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after finishing in top three at the 2019 IWBF Asia Oceania Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Pattaya, Thailand.
