Before Eurovision
Internal selection
TVP announced that the "Przytul mnie mocno", written by Seweryn Krajewski and Wojciech Ziembicki as the Polish entry for the 1999 contest. Auditions were later held by TVP to select the artist who will perform the entry.
At Eurovision
In the contest, Poland received 17 points and finished 18th.
