Government Property Agency

Government Property Agency (Chinese: 政府產業署) or GPA is an agency under the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Formed in April, 1990, the Agency manages the government properties which were distributed among Government Secretariat, Lands Department, and Rating and Valuation Department.

Introduction

The Government Property Agency was formed in April 1990. Its main functions are to meet the needs of all bureaux and departments for joint-user general use offices and quarters; to manage government properties efficiently and cost effectively and to optimize the use of government sites and properties.
