Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal

Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal (Tamil: ஜீ தமிழ் குடும்பம் விருதுகள்) is an awards ceremony held to honour the cast and crew of Tamil soap operas and other shows which airs on Zee Tamil.[1] In this event awards are given for performers in television serials and shows. The first edition of the awards show was held on October 28, 2018 and the second one was held on October 13, 2019.[2][3]

Nominations

Jurors select the nominees in each award category from among the shows that airs on Zee Tamil. People invited to cast their votes via text message or at the Zee Television Awards website or by voting in bullots, where the trunk goes cities and towns

Categories

There are three categories in the nomination list:

  • Favorite Awards - This category was full and full by voting of people and select the winners
  • Best Awards - This category has divided by votes of people, that program's TRP rating and date of telecasting
  • Special Awards - This category was selected by the Zee Tamil Network, how the actors or actress performances in the shows[4]

1st Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal 2018

The 2018 Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal ceremony took place on Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This show host by Archana Chandhoke, Deepak Dinkar and Kamal Dhandapani and 5000+ peoples attended the event.[5]

Guests who attended the function included, The Brand Ambassador of Zee Tamil - Actress Jyothika with Aishwarya Rajesh, Amala Paul, Atlee, Vimal, Sathyaraj, Pa. Vijay, Vishal, Samuthirakani, A. L. Vijay, Thambi Ramaiya, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Prasanna and Yuvan Shankar Raja[6]

In fiction, the most of the awards won by Sembaruthi with nine awards, Yaaradi Nee Mohini with eight awards and Poove Poochudava with six awards. In non-fiction Dance Jodi Dance, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Junior Super Star won the awards[7]

2nd Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal 2019

As the 1st Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal 2018 became a great success, Zee Tamil continues 2nd Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal. This show host by Archana Chandhoke, Deepak Dinkar, Sivakarthikeyan and Zaara[8]

Guests who attended the function included, Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan, Sneha, Meena, Nainika, Rachitha Mahalakshmi, Deivayani, Rajakumaran, Vadivukkarasi, Bhagyaraj, Vani Bhojan, Ritika Singh, Ashok Selvan and Minister D. Jayakumar.[9]

In fiction, again the most of the awards won by Sembaruthi in favorite category with Sathya in best category. While Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Oru Oorla Oru Rajakumari, Rettai Roja and Poove Poochudava series got several awards. In non-fiction Dance Jodi Dance, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Super Mom won the awards[10]
