Woman of the Lake
Woman of the Lake (Japanese: 女のみづうみ, Hepburn: Onna no mizuumi) is a 1966 Japanese film directed by Yoshishige Yoshida.[1] It is based on Yasunari Kawabata's novel The Lake.[2]

Plot
Miyako, comfortably married to Yuzo, is reaching the end of a passionate affair with Kitano. She lets Kitano take naked pictures of her. but the photos end up in possession of Ginpei who starts blackmailing the couple. Ginpei has been watching the affair unfold for several months. Facing what she assumes is blackmail, Miyako meets Ginpei in a distant seaside town.
