Promotion
The tour was for the purpose of promoting the band's latest album, Red Rose Speedway, as well as the single "Live and Let Die" from the James Bond film of the same name. Prior to the tour, Wings performed unannounced at the London Hard Rock Cafe on 18 March in support of the charity organisation Release.
Wings' line-up for the tour was Paul and Linda McCartney, Denny Laine, Henry McCullough, and Denny Seiwell.
The support group for the entire tour was pub rock band Brinsley Schwarz who Paul and Linda asked to be on the tour after seeing them perform at the London Hard Rock Cafe's opening night a few weeks previously.

gollark: The trouble with using the containment class system for tornadoes is that it's not exactly very granular. You're not going to seriously have any Safe-class tornadoes, which means you can just say they're Euclid or Keter.
gollark: No, those are still there, it's an extra thing added on top. http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/anomaly-classification-system-guide
gollark: There's actually a shiny new containment class/disruption class/risk class system in place now.
gollark: I haven't heard anything about a war though.
gollark: Climate change is more of a long term issue than a *disaster* right now.
