Mixed martial arts career

The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil

Andrade was a competitor on the second Brazilian season of The Ultimate Fighter.[2] Andrade defeated Thiago Goncalves in the preliminary round, before being chosen as Team Werdum's fourth pick. Andrade fought Goncalves for the second time after he had been brought back as an injury replacement for Neilson Gomes, winning by TKO in the first round. Andrade then taunted Team Nogueira, causing friction between the teams.

In the quarter-final round, Andrade defeated David Vieira by unanimous decision to advance to the semis. He faced William Macário, losing by technical knockout in the third round.

Ultimate Fighting Championship

Andrade made his promotional debut against Bristol Marunde on August 3, 2013 at UFC 163.[3] He won the fight via TKO in the first round.

Andrade faced Nico Musoke on February 15, 2014 at UFC Fight Night 36.[4] Despite dropping and almost finishing Musoke in the first round, Andrade lost the fight via unanimous decision.

Andrade was expected to face promotional newcomer Andreas Ståhl on July 26, 2014 at UFC on Fox 12.[5] However, Andrade was forced from the bout due to injury and was replaced by promotional newcomer Gilbert Burns.[6]

The bout with Andreas Ståhl has been rescheduled and is expected to take place on June 27, 2015 at UFC Fight Night 70.[7] Subsequently, the bout was scrapped during the week leading up to the event as Ståhl was forced out of the bout with an injury.[8]

Andrade faced Gasan Umalatov on November 7, 2015 at UFC Fight Night 77.[9] He won the fight by unanimous decision.[10]

Andrade faced Richard Walsh on March 20, 2016 at UFC Fight Night 85.[11] Andrade won the fight via unanimous decision.[12] On April 12, 2016, USADA notified the UFC that Andrade had failed an out of competition drug test conducted on March 7, 2016. Due a delay in testing the sample at the WADA-accredited lab in Rio de Janeiro, the fight vs. Walsh went forward.[13]

In May 2017, Andrade was released from the company.

gollark: Real payment systems partly get around this by making the chip on the card itself do some cryptography, so it can't make payments without the card being physically there still, but I don't think there's actually anything other than trust, the law, and "security" through obscurity stopping a payment thing from deducting more money than it should?
gollark: Obviously that's not very good.
gollark: .
gollark: Example issue with the central version: you scan your card on a payment terminal to pay one currency unit. But it reads your card's data off, and can now just take as much money as it wants at any time
gollark: And that would... probably be worse than the central version.
