Venus Wong
Venus Wong (Chinese: 王敏奕; pinyin: wong4 man5 jik6) is Chinese actress from Hong Kong who has starred in such films as To Love or Not to Love, Camera and Lucky Boy. After beginning her career in television on the teen idols' show Y2K Series (Y2K系列) in 2006, she appeared in a number of supporting roles in television and film before being cast in the 2014 film Never Dance Alone.[1][2]

Biography
Wong was born in 1992 in Huizhou, Guangdong province and moved to Hong Kong at the age of one with her mother. She attended Christ Church Ching Wan Primary School and then Rosehill School before being scouted at the age of 14 to become a Teen idol in the television show Y2K Series. Two years later in 2008, she made her film debut in the movie High Noon (烈日當空) as a supporting character. In the same year, she appeared in the TV show 性本善 and as a waitress in the film Forgive and Forget 親愛的. After appearing in a few more small roles, she studied French at the City University of Hong Kong before dropping out in 2012 to study Drama in New York.[3] Wong has appeared in many TV commercials and has promoted brands such as Olympus, Nokia and Brandy.[4]
