Derek Tsang

Derek Tsang Kwok-cheung (; born 8 November 1979) is a Hong Kong actor and film director. He is the son of Eric Tsang. He directed the films Lover's Discourse (2010) and Soul Mate (2016), and starred in The Thieves in 2012.[1] He is best known for the film Better Days.

Life and career

Derek Tsang was born to Eric Tsang and his wife on 8 November 1979 in Wuhua, Guangzhou, China. His father originally wanted to become a soccer player just like his father Tsang Kai, who was Derek's grandfather. But, he ended up pursuing an acting career in 1977 and later moved to Hong Kong when Derek was still a baby.

Derek made his debut for Men Suddenly in Black (2003), where he played a younger version of his father's character, along with Jaycee Chan and Nicholas Tse.
