Vattiyoorkavu (State Assembly constituency)
Vattiyoorkavu State assembly constituency (Malayalam: വട്ടിയൂര്ക്കാവ് നിയമസഭാ നിയോജക മണ്ഡലം) is one of the 140 state legislative assembly constituencies in Kerala. It is also one of the 7 state legislative assembly constituencies included in the Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency. [1]

Due to the election of the sitting MLA K. Muraleedharan as the MP from Vatakara (Lok Sabha constituency), Vattiyoorkavu Constituency went to bypoll in 2019. There were 1,97,570 registered voters in Vattiyoorkavu Constituency for this election.[4] V K Prashanth Won by 14465 votes during the election conducted in October 2019. [5]
