University School of Information, Communication and Technology

University School of Information and Communication Technology (formerly University School of Information Technology) is a constituent institute of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The school offers a full-time B.Tech, M.Tech, as well as MCA programs. The admission process is through JEE (Main) for B.Tech-M.Tech (Dual Degree) and NIMCET for MCA(SE) Program

Admission

From 2019 onwards, the admission process is done on the basis of JEE (Main) merit for 4+2 year B.Tech/M.Tech (Dual Degree) and NIMCET merit for MCA(SE) programs. Earlier, Admissions to the 4+2 year B.Tech/M.Tech (Integrated) as well as MCA (SE) program of USICT was done on the basis of merit in an All India Level Common Entrance Test (IPUCET) which is conducted by the University.

The students admitted in the 4+2 dual degree course have an option to quit after 4 year B.Tech.

Industry relation

USICT has a memorandum of understanding with CISCO systems, IBM and Intel.[1] USICT is also the CISCO regional academy for northern India.

Events and festivals

InfoXpression is the annual technical festival of the USICT. It is organised by TechSpace.

Synapse is the annual technical and cultural festival of the IEEE Student Branch.
