B. V. Ramana Reddy

B.V. Ramana Reddy is the dean of University School of Architecture and Planning, faculty of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). He is also in the management committee of Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences as the Educationist Member.[1] He is a professor at the University School of Information Technology (USIT) and also serves as the chairman of Library Committee of University Information and Resource Center.[2]

Education

Reddy obtained his ME and Ph.D (ECE) degrees during 1991 and 1998 respectively. He served in various capacities and has about 20 years of experience in teaching and research. Before joining GGSIPU he served as assistant professor at National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur.[3]

Research experience

Reddy has about 20 publications in journals and international conferences to his credit. He is a Fellow of IETE and a member of other professional bodies such as IE, IEEE, ISTE and SEMCEI. He has guided a few scholars leading to M.Tech. and Ph.D.s. His current research interests include wireless communications which include mobile, ad hoc and sensor-based networks, computer communication networks, semiconductor and VLSI circuits and microwave and optical communications.[3]
