Turitea

Turitea is a suburb of Palmerston North in the Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand. It is located on the southern side of the Manawatu River, south of Massey University.

Turitea is the home to Palmerston North's water supply and location of a planned wind farm.

Most of Turitea is in the Fitzherbert Ward in the Palmerston North City Council, with the neighbouring suburbs of Aokautere, Massey University and Linton.

Prior to 1996, Turitea was part of the Manawatu electorate. However, due to the reformation of the electoral system from FPP to MMP, the electorate of Palmerston North's boundaries were redrawn to include Turitea. In 2007, the boundaries were redrawn and Turitea was transferred to the Rangitikei electorate, thus making Palmerston North completely surrounded by Rangitikei.

Education

Turitea School is a co-educational state primary school for Year 1 to 6 students,[1] with a roll of 132 as of March 2020.[2]

gollark: The embeddings for your example sentences are the same each time you run the model, so you can just store them somewhere and run the cosine similarity thing on all of them in bulk.
gollark: Well, it doesn't look like you ever actually move the `roberta-large-mnli` model to your GPU, but I think the Sentence Transformers one is slow because you're using it wrong.
gollark: For the sentence_transformers one, are you precomputing the embeddings for the example sentences *then* just cosine-similaritying them against the new sentence? Because if not that's probably a very large bottleneck.
gollark: sentence_transformers says you should be able to do several thousand sentences a second on a V100, which I'm pretty sure is worse than your GPU. Are you actually running it on the GPU?
