Thunderstorm Artis
Thunderstorm Artis (born December 21, 1995) is an American folk and jazz singer. He took 3rd place in season 18 of the American talent competition The Voice behind Todd Tilghman and Toneisha Harris.[1]

Early life
Thunderstorm Artis was born on December 21, 1995, in Haleiwa, Hawaii. He grew up in a large musical family with 10 siblings. They formed a family band and would perform at his father's art gallery, attracting tourists from all over the world.[2] In 2010, when he was almost turning 15 his dad died due to a heart attack.[3]
Career
In 2016 Artis and his brother, Ron, formed a musical duo and released an album together.[4] After that he went solo and starting performing all over the US. In 2018 Artis released an EP, titled, Haunted. In 2020, Artis entered the 18th season of The Voice. In his blind audition, He sang "Blackbird" by The Beatles. All four coaches turned their chairs for him. Thunderstorm chose to become a member of Team John. He made it to the finale, on Nick Jonas' Team and took 3rd place on May 19, 2020.
