Tamara Gustavson is the daughter of B. Wayne Hughes, the founder and chairman of Public Storage, a self-storage company. She is the largest shareholder with 11% of the company and as of 2016, an estimated net worth of $4.9 billion making her the wealthiest person in the state of Kentucky.[2][1]
In 1983, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS degree in public affairs.[3]
Since 2008, she has been a board director of Public Storage.[3]
