Surface Neo
The Microsoft Surface Neo, also known as the Microsoft Neo or the Surface Neo, is an upcoming folding device announced during Microsoft's October 2019 Surface hardware event.[1] Unlike its sister device the Surface Duo, the Surface Neo will run Windows 10X, a version of Microsoft Windows designed specifically for foldable devices.[2] The device was initially expected to release in 'Holiday 2020', although preliminary reports suggest the device may not be released until early 2021.[3]

Background
The device was announced at Microsoft's Surface hardware conference in October 2019, alongside the Surface Pro 7, Surface Pro X, Surface Laptop 3, Surface Duo and Surface Earbuds. Unlike most previous Microsoft releases, the device was released unannounced, and was not preceded by any leaks or hints.
Software
The device will launch with Windows 10X, a version of Windows designed intentionally for foldable devices, unlike its sibling device the Surface Duo, which is expected to launch with Android.[4] Microsoft is working with developers to enable apps that work in Windows 10 to work with Windows 10X.
