Stan Moore (ice hockey)

Stan Moore is a retired American ice hockey player and coach. Immediately after graduating from Oswego State in 1978 Moore embarked on a coaching career, taking him to a myriad of programs throughout the Northeast US.[1] While he spent the majority of his career as an assistant coach Moore has, on three separate occasions, been the head coach of a college program; first with Union for two seasons, and then as an interim coach for both Colgate and Colby, each for only one season.[2] Despite the short time he spent as a head coach, Moore has received the ECAC Hockey Coach of the Year Award twice[3] and won a conference regular season title.
