Reception

The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow awarded the album 3 stars, stating, "Murray, who doubles here on bass clarinet, tears into five of his originals (best known are "Sweet Lovely" and "Flowers for Albert"). The improvising is quite free, exploratory, and sometimes violent, although there are a few strong melodies".[1]

gollark: Oh, I was wrong (not even within an order of magnitude): it is in fact 0.5 million people a year here who go to university.
gollark: So... every year, 3% of your population sits university exams? That seems... kind of high.
