Short-crested monarch

The short-crested monarch (Hypothymis helenae) is a species of bird in the family Monarchidae. It is endemic to the Philippines.

Alternate names for the short-crested monarch include the paradise flycatcher monarch and short-crested blue-monarch.[2]

Habitat

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
