SIS is registered with the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Dhaka. SIS is a pretense co-educational school offering a pre-school, primary, secondary and high school program leading to examinations and the Edexcel General Certificate of Education and the Ordinary and the Advanced Levels.[3]

English is the medium of execution. A second language is thought to be essential for any student and offers French and Bengali.[4] Bengali is compulsory for all Bangladeshi children.[5]

Admission

Places for students are limited and each child undertakes an assessment to ensure they are at the minimum standard required for study at the school. The ability to speak and understand a level of English is required as it is the language of instruction in the school.

Activities

Facilities at SIS include singing, dramatics, poetry and dancing. Art and poetry competitions are held. A couple of competitions are organised throughout the academic year.
