History
Scott, originally called Van Buren, was platted in 1833.[3] A post office called Scott opened in 1837, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1905.[4]
Geography
Scott is located at 41°44′30″N 85°33′22″W on the Pigeon River near the Indiana Toll Road, just about a mile south of the state border with Michigan.
