Sarath Mandava

Sarath Mandava is an Indian screenwriter, director, cinematographer and executive producer known for his works in Tamil cinema, and Telugu cinema. Sarath made his directorial debut with a political thriller Tamil version film Ko 2.[1] In 2012, he has written/ co-written Ajith Kumar's Billa II as screenplay and story writer.[2]. He has written dialogues for the telugu version of the same film released on 13 Jul 2012 with title David Billa.[3]

Career

Sarath Mandava started his career in Films after quitting his Software Career. He went to Film School in London promoted by Rain Dance and did a Script Writing course in Straight Curve Film School, Kent, UK. He started working as Associate Director and Co-writer in various films before directing his first debut Tamil film Ko 2. Sarath supposed to debut as a Director with a film titled 'Anjamai Dravidar Udamayada' with a political thriller based on a true story. Due to unknown reasons, the project was shelved and replaced by Ko 2. He worked as Executive Producer for a few Telugu films including Telugu film Potugadu.
