Riverview Hotel, Balmain

The Riverview Hotel is a heritage-listed pub located in Balmain, a suburb in the inner west region of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Australian swimming champion, Dawn Fraser, was publican of the Riverview from 1978 to 1983.

History

Between 1888 and 1913 the pub was named Bergin's Hotel after the publican Joseph Bergin. In late 2008, after renovation, it reopened.[1]

The Riverview Hotel is listed on the Inner West Council local government heritage register. The corner building was built in the Arts and Crafts style with distinctive brick work details. It was remodelled again c.1909.[2]

gollark: It can only do I think 32 or 22Gbps PCIe plus some DisplayPort.
gollark: Interestingly, the 40Gbps figure is for the actual link between the Thunderbolt controller and CPU.
gollark: Will they actually set up the link automatically for file transfer? I'm pretty sure Thunderbolt is just PCIe/DisplayPort over a cable.
gollark: If you don't prefix it with a slash, substitution with s/thing/thing actually works on discord web/possibly desktop.
