Puroland (album)
Puroland is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow.[1] The title refers to an amusement park in Tokyo run by Sanrio, the company behind Hello Kitty.

"Pilgrimage to Puroland" was played live once in Tokyo. "Celebration Day" was inspired by the song of the same name by Led Zeppelin, and was played live once in Osaka. "Pleasant Valley Monday" was inspired by the song "Pleasant Valley Sunday" by The Monkees. "War Frog" was originally called "Boom Boom Bomb" because of the bass loop, and was played live many times.[2]
The album Dharma has a track referencing Hello Kitty.
