Novoselytsia
Novoselytsia (Ukrainian: Новоселиця [ˌnɔwoˈsɛlɪtsʲɐ]; Romanian: Noua Suliță [ˈnowa ˈsulitsə]; Yiddish: נאוואסעליץ, romanized: Novoselitz) is a city in Chernivtsi Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It stands at the northern tip of Bessarabia region, on its border with Bukovina, and serves as the administrative center of Novoselytsia Raion. Population: 7,642 (2015 est.).[2]

History
From 1774 to 1877, Novoselytsia was at the tripoint between the Austrian Empire (Duchy of Bukovina), Principality of Moldavia (later Romania), and the Russian Empire (Bessarabia Governorate).
In January 1989 the population was 8384 people[3][4].
In January 2013 the population was 7774 people.[5]
