Nkwanta North District
The Nkwanta North District (French: Nkwanta Nord) is one of the eight (8) districts in the Oti Region, and was previously in the Volta Region of Ghana. Its capital and administrative centre is Kpassa.

History
The Nkwanta North District was one of the 28 new districts inaugurated officially on 29 February 2008 by the then president of Ghana John Agyekum Kufuor.
