Krachi West District

The Krachi West District is one of the eight districts of the Oti Region and was previously one of the twenty-five (25) districts in the Volta Region of Ghana.[1] Krachi West district capital and administrative centre is Kete Krachi.

History

The Krachi West District was created in 2008 and inaugurated officially on 29 February 2008.

Location and geography

Location

The Krachi West District is located in the Oti Region. Krachi West district eastern boundary is the Nkwanta North District, Nkwanta South District is to the south, and Kadjebi District is to the west.
