Biakoye District

The Biakoye District is one of the eight districts in the Oti Region and formerly one of the twenty-five (25) districts in the Volta Region of Ghana. Biakoye district's capital and administrative centre is Nkonya Ahenkro.

Notable people

A notable citizen of the District is Ave K. Kludze, a NASA rocket scientist who was honoured at the village of Gbi Kpeme, near Nkonya Ahenkro, during a festival.[2]
