Distance estimates
A distance of (13 ± 2 Mpc) for NGC 4523 was derived from using yellow supergiants in the galaxy as standard candles.[6]
gollark: Well, strictly speaking I probably *should* do that.
gollark: Oh, right, a _ENV/_G mismatch issue again...
gollark: Yes, I am working on it.
gollark: Tempted to just redefine `require` somewhere.
gollark: Apparently `package` doesn't exist.
