Mucin 5AC
Mucin 5AC (Muc5AC) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MUC5AC gene.[5][6][7]
Clinical relevance
This gene has been linked to mucus hypersecretion in the respiratory tract and is associated to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).[8]
gollark: It is unsafe. You can print to `/proc/self/mem`. Very dangerous.
gollark: Did you know? For any given prime number p, it's too late. It's already happening. It cannot be stopped.
gollark: Our GTech™ beeologists have unfortunately been unable to source the music in the "5D Chess With Multiverse Time Travel" video.
gollark: That is *fairly* cool music, hmm.
