Monchu

Ramón Rodríguez Jiménez (born 13 September 1999), commonly known as Monchu, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for FC Barcelona B as a central midfielder, where he currently serves as vice-captain.

Club career

Born in Palma, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Monchu joined FC Barcelona's youth setup in 2012, from RCD Mallorca.[1] After progressing through the youth setup, he made his senior debut with the reserves on 15 December 2017, coming on as a second-half substitute for Oriol Busquets in a 1–3 away loss against Cádiz CF for the Segunda División championship.[2] He made his first team debut on 8 August 2020, coming off the bench in the Champions League round of 16 second leg against S.S.C. Napoli.[3]
