Club career
Born in Sabadell, Barcelona, Catalonia, Collado joined FC Barcelona's youth setup in 2009, after stints at RCD Espanyol and CE Mercantil.[3] He was a member of the Barcelona youth team that won the 2017–18 UEFA Youth League, defeating Chelsea 3–0 in the final.[4] After progressing through the youth setup, he made his debut for Barcelona B on 17 March 2018, starting in a 1–1 away draw against Lorca FC for the Segunda División championship.[5] He made his full senior team debut for Barcelona, as a starter, on 4 May 2019 in a 2–0 away loss to Celta Vigo.[6]
Style of play
Collado's official Barcelona profile describes him as a: "Left-footed midfielder with Barça DNA. He has excellent vision and is a superb reader of the game. Very good at selecting the right option when passing, he’s also very skillful when attacking, has a great shot and is difficult to beat in one on one situations."[2] A versatile player, he is capable of playing centrally as an attacking midfielder, or also out wide as a winger.[7]
